Our commitment

Konnect AI is committed to making konnectai.com usable by the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities. We design and build to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA and treat accessibility as a release-blocking requirement rather than a finishing touch.

Conformance target

The conformance target for this Site is WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We test against this target using a combination of automated tooling (axe-core, Lighthouse, WAVE) and manual keyboard and screen-reader testing.

Compatibility

The Site is designed to work with the latest two versions of the major browsers and assistive technologies, including:

  • Browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge.
  • Screen readers: NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack.

Features designed for accessibility

  • Skip-to-content link as the first focusable element.
  • Semantic landmarks (header, nav, main, footer) on every page.
  • Visible focus indicators (2px ring, ≥3:1 contrast) on all interactive elements.
  • Color contrast ≥4.5:1 for body text and ≥3:1 for UI components and large text.
  • Touch targets ≥44×44 CSS pixels.
  • Form fields with visible labels, programmatic associations, and inline errors using aria-live.
  • Mobile navigation with focus trap, Esc-to-close, and screen-reader announcements.
  • Respect for prefers-reduced-motion and 200% page zoom.
